Denali is sitting with the golden ram. We signed up for lunch on a cruise down the Nile and this was the entrance to the boat. Is this what you think Egypt looks like?
The mighty river Nile.
Entertainment on board was a Whirling Dervish and a belly dancer, both examples of Egyptian arts. The Whirling Dervish spins and spins to music and represents the earth rotating around the sun. I think I'd get dizzy if I turned that many times, how bout you??
Does the belly dancer look Egyptian to you? Notice the ceilings painted with traditional symbols of Egyptian culture. This trip down the Nile was more like visiting our Strip and thinking you are a world traveler because you saw King Arthur's Castle next to New York City and were just down the street from Venice, Italy. The belly dancer is actually from Finland.
